"He isn't heavy, He is my Brother

Life is worth living

when the mind thinks

and the heart beats

for others with Love"

It's love that makes a human heart divine. Love is a running stream. One cannot touch love but feel the sweetness that it pours into everything. It has the hands to help others, the feet to hasten to the poor and the needy, the eyes to see the misery and want, the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men.

The first daughter to the love of God is service to man. To be a servant of God mean to have great love towards one's neighbour and an unshakable resolution to follow the divine will in all things, trusting God with simplicity and humility.

To sow the seeds of these sacred thoughts in the young minds, to light the fire of tolerance, compassion and sacrifice in the young hearts and to help them grow as fruitful citizens of peace and bliss, St. John's with its humble beginning way back in 1969 has taken its motto as 'Love and service'

'If you can't be a pine on top of the hill

Be a scrub in the valley

But be the best little scrub by the side of the hill

Be the best of whatever you are'

The young pupils who step into the soil of St. John's are educated, to see the good in others and praise it, to have a feeling heart, a helping hand and to lift life above self to service for humanity.

At a stage when the Country is suffering from the effects of serious erosion in the minimum level of ‘Love and Service', St. John's spurred by righteousness, faith and love that springs from the heart, aims at working towards the transformation of human consciousness with dedication, integrity and loyalty to carry the message of love and service to all the corners of the globe proclaiming that in 'Love and Service' mankind can realise its human destiny and individuals their self fulfillment.
